From narrow cavity wounds to the loss of large amounts of substance, laboratoires Brothier provides you with two complete product ranges for haemostasis and wound healing.

Mode of action

On contact with the wound, Algosteril / Algoderm and Trionic exchange their calcium ions with the sodium ions in the blood and the exudate.

The calcium ions released activate the key cells involved in haemostasis and wound healing (Platelets, fibroblasts, macrophages, endothelial cells). This activation is calcium dose-dependent and ensures that wound healing is speeded up. The drainage and exchange of ions ensures that gelification of the fibres occurs and also ensures painless removal.
